’90 Day Fiance’s Loren & Alexei Admit They Can ‘Get Through Anything’ After Having A Baby In A Pandemic

’90 Day Fiance’ alums Loren and Alexei star in the all-new series ’90 Day Diaries.’ HL spoke EXCLUSIVELY with the couple about raising their baby boy in the midst of a pandemic.

The 90 Day universe is getting even bigger! Loren, 32, and Alexei Brovarnik, 32, are one of the couples featured in the Discovery+ series 90 Day Diaries, which gives an intimate look into the lives of fan-fave couples, told from their perspective. Without producers or crew, the cast members film themselves in their day-to-day lives as they continue to navigate the COVID-19 pandemic and all of the new challenges it brings to their relationships.

The year 2020 was a memorable one for Loren and Alexei, in more ways than one. The COVID-19 pandemic upended everyone’s lives, and the fan-favorite couple welcomed their first child together, a son named Shai, now 9 months, on April 14, 2020. HollywoodLife talked EXCLUSIVELY with the couple, whose love story began during 90 Day Fiance season 3, about how they’ve adjusted to parenthood.

“We adjusted easier than expected at first,” the couple told HollywoodLife. “We were very lucky. But with time, Loren’s postpartum came out a bit and each day is a new adjustment. We’re loving every second of it, especially Alex, he loves diaper duty [laughs].”

They admitted it’s been “definitely interesting” raising their newborn in a pandemic, but noted it was “what we were prepped for. We were happy, scared, exhausted, etc. Basically, everything people tell you that you will be, we were, more or less.”

There have been some challenges along the way, of course, but the couple has weathered them together. They haven’t been to “really go out with Shai,” nor has Alexei’s family been able to meet Shai yet. “People say if you can get through a long-distance relationship, you can get through anything,” Loren and Alexei told HollywoodLife. “We say, if you can get through becoming new parents and being quarantined for a month and still laugh together, you can get through anything.”

As for baby Shai, the couple gushed that he is “living his best life.” And they “absolutely” have more kids in mind for the future. 90 Day Diaries streams on discovery+ on January 4.
