Newly-engaged Ant McPartlin and Anne-Marie Corbett hold hands after proposal
Newly-engaged Ant McPartlin and Anne-Marie Corbett looked happier than ever.
The couple braved the January chill when they walked their dogs in London over the weekend.
It’s the first time they have been seen together since the Christmas Eve proposal news hit headlines.
Ant, 45, and Anne-Marie, 43, held hands on their wintry walk with their pooches.
The romantic pair wrapped up for the cold in matching padded jackets.
A spokesman confirmed the engagement: “Ant and Amzie are delighted to announce their engagement.
“The proposal took place on Christmas Eve at home in a very romantic setting.”
Christmas was the perfect time to propose as the couple adore Xmas.
A friend told The Sun : “Ant has been planning this for some time – but wanted to make sure the moment was just right.
“2020 has been a pretty torrid year for everybody, and this is the happy news that all their friends and family have been waiting for.
“Both Amzie and Ant adore Christmas, and get really into it every year, so Ant decided to pop the question on Christmas Eve.
“He’s a traditionalist, so got down on one knee after first checking with Anne Marie’s family that he had their blessing. It was super-romantic, and obviously Anne-Marie said ‘yes’ straight away.”
They have been dating for three wonderful years.
The lovebirds have been happily living together in London with their dogs.
Previously, Ant was married to Lisa Armstrong for 11 years.
They split up in January 2018 after 23 years as a couple.
