President Donald trump and the first lady Melania Trump They are looking to acquire a home in Palm Beach, Florida, as a second option for residence in the state, after reports that neighbors are opposed to living in Mar-a-Lago.
“Melania and Trump are talking with agents about buying a house in Palm Beach, or nearby, since the living space in Mar-a-Lago is not big enough and there could be some potential conflicts,” a source told the portal Page Six.
The plans go hand in hand with the almost completed remodeling of the residence in Mar-a-Lago, which has not been to President Trump’s liking, according to CNN, to the extent that the president asked to remove pieces of marble and dark wood.
“Melania has been redecorating her apartment … where they have separate bedrooms, living rooms and offices,” said the source about the project that has sparked conflict between the presidential couple.
The First Lady seems the most involved in the new residential plans, even with the search for new school for his son Barron.
“He also looks for houses near Mar-a-Lago to buy. The idea is that initially they will stay in Mar-a-Lago, ”the source said of the alternate plans.
