The Best Photos of 2020, Announced The Wildlife Conservation Society of New York | The State
The Wildlife Conservation Society (WCS), the organization that works to save wildlife and manages the Bronx Zoo (NYC) and other natural parks, announced its top twenty images of the year 2020.
Selection includes photo of one of the Bronx Zoo tigers that contracted coronavirus in the spring and the image of ambulance depot established in that park.
Ten of the images are of the Bronx Zoo and other parks, while another dozen photos are from WCS Global Conservation Programs taken by scientists working around the world.
This year, there are two honorable mention graphic captures that had “a special meaning that deserved their inclusion on the 2020 list.” All photos and their explanations can be seen here.
