The boyfriend of YouTube star Grace Victory has taken to social media to share a heartbreaking plea as the new mum lies in a coma.
Grace, 30, was placed in an induced coma after suffering with Covid-19.
After first developing mild symptoms two weeks ago, Grace was placed into intensive care on Christmas Day – a day after she gave birth to her first child two months early.
Speaking amid his partner’s ongoing health battle, devoted Lee took to Instagram to will Grace to make a full recovery for the sake of their boy.
The singer posted four pictures with Grace and told her: “You’ve got this baby girl!” followed by a red love heart.
“Me and bubba are waiting x,” he added.
Grace was put in an induced coma this week just one day after giving birth to her son.
The child was not due until February, but Grace became too ill to continue with the pregnancy, her family revealed.
In a statement they shared with fans the devastating news that Grace’s fight with Covid-19 was worsening.
They said: “As you guys know, Grace gave birth on Christmas Eve to a beautiful baby boy, who is currently doing so well, he’s incredible. We love him so much.
“Grace developed Covid-19 two weeks ago and although her symptoms were mild at first, they worsened as the days went on. Which meant they had to deliver the baby as soon as possible, as she was just too unwell to carry on with the pregnancy.”
The statement continue: “Grace was admitted into intensive care on Christmas Day due to issues with her breathing & therefore they had to make the decision of placing her into an induced coma, to give her body the rest it needs, in order to recover.”
They went on to say that Grace was in a stable condition but still need prayers.
“We love her so, so much and we know she’ll come out of this stronger than ever. She has dedicated her whole career to healing people, we now ask that you pray, to heal her.”
Before her illness, Grace had been documenting her pregnancy with her social media followers.
She found fame online after setting up a YouTube channel in 2011 where she calls herself ‘The Internet’s Big Sister’.
Following news of her battle with Covid, some celebrity fans of hers took to social media to share their support.
Little Mix’s Leigh-Anne Pinnock wrote to her family: “Sending so much love to you all.”
While Katie Piper shared: “Keeping you in my thoughts and prayers Grace.”
