Love Island champ Amber Gill has been flooded with congratulations after managing to lose a whole stone in just six weeks.
The 23-year-old, who won Love Island’s 2019 series, showed off the results of her hard work with before and after bikini snaps from different angles.
“Guys look at this..” the Tyneside beauty wrote.
“I lost my lockdown weight! I’m so proud of my little transformation. I didn’t really intend on losing a load of weight just wanted to start feeling better.
“By no means do I think I was ‘fat’ but I wasn’t being as healthy and mindful as usual and right now I feel so much better within myself.
“I used to think that line ‘lose a stone in 6 weeks’ was all lies. But that’s exactly what I did. And a little bit extra.”
She also reached out to fans to tell her their weight loss stories.
And Amber has since been flooded with compliments and messages of support.
“Awww you look so happy,” one noticed.
Another gushed: “Absolutely smashed it! Now send me the diet plan!! I need to start my healthy eatin on fri!”
“I needed this type of motivation! You look amazing,” a fourth wrote.
“You look great & very inspiring!” a fourth told her.
Meanwhile her Love Island bestie Anna Vakili shared a string of clapping emojis, while model Tom Walker branded her “amazing.”
Amber previously opened up about her “disappointment” in herself after putting on a stone during the second lockdown.
She turned to takeaways as the country was shut down again in November, and told that she struggled to find her workout motivation.
“In lockdown, I said I was going to become a fitness freak and I was going to shift this stone as I’m not putting on another stone in lockdown, it’s not happening,” Amber shared.
She added: “I’m disappointed in myself, I can’t help how I feel. Does anyone else feel the same or am I by myself?”
Meanwhile she was forced to hit back at keyboard warriors after they left cruel comments on on Instagram post.
“I’m sure the people that commented are the image of perfection so thank you for that,” Amber penned eloquently.
“First of all, we are in a pandemic. Second How do people look so closely that they notice before I even notice.
“Whoever put on weight this year don’t worry I’m with you.”
