Doctor Emily Andre almost found herself needing medical attention after taking a tumble on one of the kids’ Christmas presents.
She fooled around on the fun hover board – but it didn’t end at all well.
Emily screamed as it built up speed before throwing her off in a heap at the side of the road.
Pete loved every minute and couldn’t stop laughing as he filmed his wife on the sit-down scooter.
They were giving it a whirl outside the Sussex home – but the NHS frontline star soon wished she had stayed inside.
Emily looked back giggling at her husband as she sat on the road clearly hoping for a hand getting to her feet.
Singer Pete, of course, captured the whole thing and it took him a matter of minutes to throw the footage on social media.
Pete captioned the Instagram video: “Ummmm…. this didn’t end well.”
The 47-year-old penned an emotional message about his undying love for his loved ones after a difficult year for everyone.
Writing in his new! mag column, the father-of-four wrote: “This year has reaffirmed just how much my family means to me.
“I always knew it, but being a teacher, nanny and cleaner while Emily was working on the frontline really brought it home.
“It was a challenge at times but it’s something I’ll never forget and I’m so proud of the kids for how they coped and how hard they worked.”
He admitted he was scared back in April when Emily had caught Covid, saying he was worried his kids would get the virus passed on to them.
“The NHS is amazing and I’m so proud of Emily and all the people who’ve worked on the frontline during the pandemic. However soppy it sounds, she’s kind of my hero,” Peter added.
