Arsenal vs Chelsea kick-off time, TV and live stream details

Could a London derby against Chelsea be the turning point for Arsenal ’s season?

The Gunners league form has been dire so far this campaign, so much so that they sit in 15th place, just four points above the relegation zone having won just four of their 14 games and scoring a meagre 12 goals. Only Burnley, West Brom and Sheffield United have scored fewer.

On top of that, they were on the receiving end of a 4-1 drubbing at home to Manchester City in the Carabao Cup on Tuesday.

Visitors Chelsea bounced back from two successive defeats to beat West Ham 3-0 last weekend and go fifth in the table heading into Boxing Day.

Both sides will be chasing a win; Arsenal are in desperate need of three points to pull them away from the bottom three, and Chelsea will want to propel themselves back into the top four.

The last time the two sides met was in August’s FA Cup final, a game Arsenal won 2-1.

Arsenal are toiling, Chelsea flying – yet bookies make Frank Lampard’s men a near double your money 19/20 to win on Boxing Day.

The Gunners are a big 3/1, which given a run of no Premier League wins since November 1 is understandable and a punt to steer clear of!

Arsenal did beat Chelsea in last season’s FA Cup final, but the Blues were unbeaten in three meetings before that against their London rivals and won 2-1 at The Emirates last season.

Both Teams To Score has come up in the last four meetings between the sides and is an attractive 4/5.

While Chelsea have grabbed the first goal in three of the last four clashes with the Gunners and are 6/4 to be leading by half-time.
