Giovanna Fletcher and her husband McFly’s Tom Fletcher have marked Christmas Day with a host of cosy celebrations alongside their three young sons.
The I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here! winner’s stunning festive spread is a far cry from the freezing cold Gwrych castle that she left just three weeks earlier.
The 35-year-old television star and her husband have pulled out all the stops to make sure the family have a very special day with Buzz, Buddy and Max, despite being stuck in Tier 4 lockdown.
As well as opening lots of lavish presents from Santa, the family have been enjoying some cosy time playing with toys and munching on Christmas treats.
Taking to social media, the happy couple cosied up in their matching Christmas pyjamas.
“Clashing into Christmas,” Tom captioned it.
At Christmas, it was peeking up the chimney to look for Santa, games on the boys’ new Nintendo Switch, and festive singalongs.
In recent weeks, Giovanna and Tom have been gearing up for the festive season and decorating their home with lots of stunning decorations.
Although Tom admitted he’d broken his Christmas promise to Gi by decorating before she was back – judging by their cozy displays since, Gi didn’t mind too much.
Giovanna was actually stunned to return from I’m A Celebrity to a gorgeously decorated home, thanks to Tom and the boys.
The family centrepiece is an enormous tree in their hallway that is adorned with lots of colourful baubles as well as glittering golden lights.
The proud mum also recently shared a photograph of the front of their home that features a door framed with even more colourful baubles.
Sharing a picture of her husband at the time, Giovanna had nothing but praise for Tom’s decorating efforts.
“Morning coffee in his happy place! And yes, @tomfletcher had put all the Christmas decorations up by the time I got back… hardly surprising as this man is a huge lover of the festive season. I LOVE THEM!!! Xxx,” she wrote.
He had even hung Giovanna’s I’m A Celebrity crown in the centre of the door to add as a wreath to the festive decorations.
While the decorations have been in place for quite some weeks, it hasn’t stopped Giovanna feeling a little stressed as she tried to get all the festive plans in place.
“Like most people, I was possibly getting a little stressed at the thought of Christmas shopping this year. Mostly, because I’ve done none and time is running away from me,” she said just over a week before Christmas.
Despite the last minute panic, Giovanna credited Ocado with helping her stock up on all the much-needed supplies as well as some extra Christmas gifts.
“Now that’s done I can get on with having some much needed fun with the boys, after all – that’s what Christmas is all about!” she penned alongside the post.
Giovanna and Tom are one of millions of families that have been affected by the latest Tier 4 restrictions, meaning their Christmas plans were thrown up in the air.
Despite the recent setback, it hasn’t stopped the family fully embracing the festive cheer and coming together for a gorgeous day.
