Carabao Cup draw live as semi-final fixtures decided after Everton vs Man Utd

The League Cup’s quarter-finals largely went to form this week, as two of the Premier League’s big hitters navigated their way into the final four.

Manchester City waltzed past crisis club Arsenal as Pep Guardiola’s side bid to make it four-in-a-row in the competition.

City showed no remorse for former No.2 Mikel Arteta’s problems at the Emirates, as they claimed a 4-1 victory.

Jose Mourinho, who won the League Cup in his first year at both Chelsea and Manchester United, took his Spurs side through at Stoke’s expense.

Spurs won 3-1 in the Potteries, with Harry Kane on target.

Brentford join them, having seen off Newcastle with a win that was a shock – but also wasn’t a shock.

Josh Dasilva scored the only goal for Thomas Frank’s men.

Everton and Manchester United are currently playing the final tie to join the trio in the semi-finals.
