Victoria Beckham’s secret hangover hell during baffling Spice Girls press talks

Victoria Beckham has relived a horrendous hungover she suffered during a Spice Girls press conference in 1997.

The former pop star, 46, has treated fans to the inside story about her infamous deadpan expression after the baffling yet hilarious clip resurfaced online this week.

Proving that she’s a true social media icon, the image of hungover Victoria has now become a viral meme alongside the caption “me on every Zoom call”.

The 90’s interview saw Posh Spice flee from the conference table due to a dodgy tummy after a wild night out on the town.

It took place during a Spice Girls trip to Brazil where Victoria was joined by Mel B, Geri Horner, Emma Bunton, and Mel C who were all chatting about their South America travels.

While the other girls gush over the stunning country, the camera zoomed in on Victoria who looked less than impressed as she cast a cold and unbothered expression across her face.

She remained very quiet and looks visibly strained as she struggles to maintain her composure at the table.

The hilarious clip then cut to Victoria putting her head in her hands before getting up and walking backstage.

Meanwhile, her bandmates pretended as though nothing was wrong as they effortlessly carried on answering questions while Victoria legged it to the nearest bathroom.

The singer-turned-designer took to her Instagram Stories on Tuesday to explain the photo which is currently gaining huge popularity online.

Victoria insisted that her unenthusiastic expression was a result of self-inflicted sickness.

“In my defense, I was really hungover,” the star quipped.

Victoria enjoyed an incredibly successful career with the Spice Girls until 2001 when the group split and she kick started her solo stint.

After she ditched her Posh persona, she released her self-titled debut solo album and scored two UK Top 10 singles.
