Inside Paddy and Christine McGuinness’ new Cheshire home with marble staircase

Christine McGuinness has shown fans around her new Cheshire home as she shares photos on social media of their new abode.

The 32-year-old mother-of-three admitted that her children with husband Paddy, 47, had been apprehensive about moving into a new house but the pics show that they have enjoyed discovering what the new house has to offer.

Paddy and Christine decided to relocate quite close to Christmas but the house, which boasts a marble staircase and flooring, shows that they have an incredible property they can call home.

TV star Paddy had previously given a glimpse at the stresses and strains of moving, by posting a pic of him surrounded by boxes as he helps pack up their old home.

Despite there being minimal furnishings in the their new house, the couple have ensured that the festive season has a presence with a spectacular silver and blue Christmas tree lighting up the marble hallway.

Paddy captioned his post: “We’ve hardly any furniture, there’s dust and cardboard boxes everywhere but finally we’ve got the tree up!!!! Merry Christmas y’all!”

The house has neutral colours throughout with white walls and the bedroom looks the picture of comfort with a fluffy throw on the bed.

Christine shared a video of her reading to Penelope and Leo, both seven, and Felicity, four, as they settle into their new surrounds.

The bathroom has an impressive stone sink which Paddy showed was a fine place for their cat Millie to take the weight off his paws.

Christine wrote on Instagram : “Thank you to everyone who has sent their best wishes recently to our new home!

“The children have settled very well, and Millie (with a willy) has come with us, it’s been a big change for everyone but as always my babies have made me super proud with how well they’ve coped.

“We have still got so much to do to finished it completely and so many boxes to unpack but already this place feels like a very happy home.”

Exploring their new garden

Christine had revealed previously that their children, who have autism, had been anxious about moving into a new house.

Pictures of them exploring the property showed that those anxieties were soon gone as they enjoyed what they were finding.

The garden looked a particular place of pleasure as it boasts a huge marble patio and steps onto a well manicured lawn and countryside views.

Ahead of the move she shared snaps of them setting foot in the upstairs rooms for the first time, beaming with pride as she told fans they were finally adjusting to the new setting.

At the time, Christine wrote on social media: “Last visit to the new house before we move in next week!

“Today my superstar trio made the biggest progress opening doors and exploring rooms they wouldn’t go in before.. AND.. all three children ventured upstairs for the very first time.

“This is massive for them, they were anxious but they done it and once they saw their new bedrooms it was big smiles all around.

‘Preparation and familiarity is key to settling my children into our new home, I’m excited to watch them grow up here. As always, I am THE PROUDEST MUMMY.’

Paddy has had enough of packing

Paddy meanwhile shared his hopes that they will be staying put at the new home for a while.

He wrote: “We’ve been renting for nigh on five years and this will be the fourth time we’ve moved in as many years. I never want to tape together another cardboard box ever!!!!

“On the plus side we’re now packing to finally move into our own house!!!! #moving #newhouse #nomorerenting #furnitureofourown #cantwait #staysafe #sunday #packing #weekend.”
