Manchester United are gearing up for a game against Leeds United with the club currently sat seventh in the Premier League table and just one point off the top four.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side have struggled to get results at home, winning just one league game at Old Trafford this season, and they have been forced to come from behind in a number of matches this season.
United are always linked with plenty of players in the transfer window but, with the January window approaching, there could also be several outgoings.
Here are the latest transfer rumours from Old Trafford.
Rashford set for bumper new deal
Mirror Sport understands that Marcus Rashford is in line for a bumper new contract before the end of the season.
The forward is in a good run of form, having netted 12 goals this season, and United want to tie him down to long-term deal before the Euros.
His current contract runs until 2023 and his performances mean he is on the radar of Real Madrid, Barcelona and Paris Saint-Germain.
Lingard linked with Blades loan
Jesse Lingard has not featured for United in the Premier League or Champions League this season, with his only two outings coming in the Carabao Cup.
With the player’s current deal due to expire at the end of the season, Lingard needs regular first team football to either convince United to trigger a one-year extension or to raise interest in his services.
According to the Manchester Evening News, Sheffield United are interested in bringing in Lingard on loan as they attempt to avoid relegation to the Championship.
Beckham wants Romero at Inter Miami
Former Manchester United star David Beckham could offer Sergio Romero a way out of Old Trafford, with the veteran goalkeeper given the cold shoulder by Solskjaer this season.
According to The Athletic, Beckham would like to sign Romero for his MLS side Inter Miami and United would be willing to let him leave.
However, his wages could be a stumbling block as the MLS’ salary ceilings would force Romero to take a wage cut.
