Arsenal are in all sorts of trouble after a series of poor results which have left them 15th in the Premier League.
Mikel Arteta has come under huge pressure in recent weeks with reports that he has lost the dressing room.
And on the pitch there has been a lack of discipline, with three red cards in five matches.
In total, there have been seven dismissals during Arteta’s reign – four more than anyone else – while Mesut Ozil remains a problem.
The German could end up leaving in January to make the most of the season why the Gunners have a youngster with huge potential on their radar.
Here are Arsenal’s latest transfer rumours.
Ozil agent speaks out
Mesut Ozil’s agent has revealed the midfielder has offers from clubs “all over the world” but intends to sit out the last six months of his contract at Arsenal.
From January Ozil will be able to open pre-contract negotiations with foreign clubs to line up his next month once his Arsenal deal expires in June.
But the German’s representative, Dr Erkut Sogut, says there is little chance of Ozil moving on before the end of the season, despite having already held talks with Fenerbahce.
“Mesut has another 6-month contract with Arsenal. Certainly, he has missed football,” Dr. Sogut told Fanatik .
“He is currently working hard to wear the Arsenal shirt again, and he will continue to work.
“I would like to clearly state our situation regarding Fenerbahce. Yes, we had meetings with Fenerbahce. We had a one-on-one conversation with the club’s most authorized people.
“However, we can never have a contact before January for official transfer talks. We received transfer offers for Mesut from all over the world.”
Gunners eye ‘new Henry’
Arsenal are eyeing up a transfer for the “new Thierry Henry” – but they will have to pay £50million for his signature.
Italian outlet Calciomercato report that the Gunners have found their next iconic forward.
Abdallah Sima, 19, has been in fine form with Czech side Slavia Prague as he has scored nine goals in 12 appearances.
The Senegalese teenager plays predominantly on the right wing, the same position as Henry started with Arsenal.
Mikel Arteta’s Gunners have been starved of title glory for a while now – but things could be changing as a new-look Arsenal side plot a course to success.
