Juventus ‘to offer’ Paulo Dybala to Man Utd amid Paul Pogba transfer issue
Juventus are reportedly willing to offer Paulo Dybala to Man Utd in a swap deal for Paul Pogba.
The Argentine forward is one of two players being considered as a makeweight in a bid to land United’s wantaway midfielder.
Federico Bernardeschi is the other star mooted for a switch to Old Trafford, with intermediaries making clear to United chiefs that both players are viable options should they sanction Pogba’s departure.
According to ESPN , Juventus have conceded they cannot afford to buy Pogba in a straight cash deal due to the strain on club finances as a result of the pandemic.
Instead, Juve chiefs are prepared to offload either Dybala or Bernardeschi in exchange, though they are not planning to conclude a transfer until the summer.

Pogba’s agent Mino Raiola retains close links with Juventus, and suggested earlier this month that it would be best for all parties if his client found a new club in the January window.
But the summer would be an acceptable alternative for Pogba, who by then will have just a year remaining on his United contract.
United know they are in a compromising position with Pogba for fear they could lose him the following year for nothing, but are adamant they will not be pressured by Raiola into lowering their demands.
Dybala was linked with a switch to United last year, but an agreement fell through due to concerns he was not fully on board with the move.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer may have missed out on Jadon Sancho in the summer, but he still made some big moves in the transfer market with Donny van de Beek, Alex Telles and Edinson Cavani all arriving.
But their start to the season has been a mixed bag, with a home defeat to Crystal Palace and a 6-1 thrashing by Spurs at one end of the scale, and a tremendous 2-1 win over PSG in Paris at the other.
The question now is whether they can find the right balance?

The 27-year-old has since become disillusioned at his own standing at Juventus, though, and recently expressed his discontent publicly.
“My agent was in Turin for a long time and was never called by the club. It disappoints me to hear talk of invested financial figures,” Dybala told Sky Italia.
“It would be better if the truth could be told, because talking about those aspects in this period pits the fans against me.”
Dybala will also be out of contract in 2022 unless an extension can be agreed, but it appears Juventus have no plans to improve their current offer.

In response to his comments, Juvenuts president Andrea Agnelli said: “I heard with great pleasure Dybala’s love for Juve. We see him as the next Juventus captain, he often has the captain’s armband on his arm.
“It appears to me that he was already offered a contract that would place him among Europe’s top 20 highest paid players.
“We are waiting for his response, but the most important thing is that he responds on the pitch.
“All parties wish that he finish in the top 5 [players in the world]. At the moment he is not in the top 5 and he knows that.”
