Pregnant Laura Whitmore gives first look at baby bump after ‘surreal’ experience
Laura Whitmore has shared the first picture of her bump with fans, a day after announcing her pregnancy.
Saying she “felt very protective” of her bump, she shared an image showing her changing figure with Hunger Magazine.
In the accompanying interview, the Celebrity Juice host explained she found pregnancy “surreal” and “mad”.
“Nothing and no one ever tells you that it is your own personal experience,” the mum-to-be shared.
Laura said of her pregnancy: “I found the first three months really hard because I was very sick and nauseous. There were a few times on live radio where I actually got physically sick during the show. I had one guest in the studio and to this day she still doesn’t know that I’m pregnant, and I think she just thought I was hungover.
“I had to run out of the studio and she had to ask herself her own question live on air because I had disappeared! I can’t even describe it because every week is so different. “
And Laura shared that she had found herself receiving plenty of advice – welcome or not.
She said: “One thing I’ve learned is that everyone has an opinion: what you should be doing, or how you should be feeling.”

The Love Island presenter, 35, first announced her pregnancy news on Instagram on Wednesday, days after her secret marriage to comic Iain Stirling was revealed.
In her post she joked that “it’s starting to look like my beer belly is out of control”.
Sharing a picture of a Sweet Child Of Mine Guns ‘N Roses babygro, with the words ‘coming 2021’, she wrote: “So I’ve always tried to be protective over the personal side of my life. A lot of things are just for me and my loved ones and we’ve chosen not to share publicly.
“However I want to now share good news as it’s our news to share – and I’m gonna be honest it’s starting to look like my lock down beer belly is out of control. Iain and I are expecting a baby early 2021.”
Sharing that she has been craving mashed potatoes, Laura admitted she had been struggling with pregnancy symptoms.

However, Laura joked one positive side was the fact she was “completely sober” while filming Celebrity Juice.
She said: “It’s been hard to keep such happy news quiet. Especially the times when I’ve had to run out of live radio to get sick in a bin or my penchant for a bowl of mashed potato in the morning.
“I wasn’t hungover like everyone thought. In fact I was completely sober filming the entire series of Celeb Juice, which is quite the accolade!”

Laura and Iain, 32, managed to tie the knot in secret last month – celebrating their love with a tiny Dublin ceremony, in line with Covid rules.
The two wed in a humanist ceremony at Dublin’s City hall on November 11.
They’re said to have married in front of 25 guests, the maximum allowed under Ireland’s level five rules at the time.
Laura’s half-brother Adam and Iain’s sister Kirsten were the witnesses, the paper reported.
The couple have been together since 2017 after meeting the year before.
They have been engaged since Iain popped the question in April in South Africa, where Love Island was then filming.
