Double tragedy in East New York

Two women on their way to work in a group home for the mentally disabled died in a violent crash in Brooklyn (NYC) during the weekend.
Nerlye Stvil (58) and her passenger and co-worker Sandra Liberice (51) were in a Toyota Camry on Flatlands and Pennsylvania avenues in East New York around 11 p.m. on Saturday, when a gray BMW speeding through a red light and collided with your vehicle, said the police.
The two male occupants of the BMW fled the accident on foot and are being wanted, police said.
Family members of the women said they shared the car on the way to their jobs at a group home at “Services for the UnderServed,” located on Barbey St. “Working woman. It will be well remembered, ”said Giliane Saint Vil of her sister-in-law Stvil.
“She was working so hard, she had survived the pandemic,” added the grieving relatives. “It is something that we cannot manage. Hopefully [los conductores] they will have the courage to surrender. Only God knows why this happened. He has his reasons ”.
Sandra Liberice orphaned two daughters, ages 8 and 20. “I hope they catch [a los sospechosos]”Said his sister Marjorie Dorsaint to the New York Post.
2020 It’s been a bad year on New York asphalt, despite the fall in traffic due to the pandemic: people seem to be driving more dangerously, and bicyclists and pedestrians let their guard down. No surprises, before Thanksgiving NYC had already had more traffic fatalities in 2020 than in all of 2019.
