Lisa Vanderpump has been left heartbroken at the death of her beloved dog, Giggy.
The reality queen, 60, paid a loving tribute to her fluffy Pomeranian pooch on social media on Saturday.
It was Giggy, she noted, who inspired her to start her rescue dog foundation.
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star wrote: “We are devastated to say that our beloved Giggy passed away this morning.
“He was truly loved & we know many of you loved him too. He inspired us to start our rescue & we will always be grateful.
“Giggy’s legacy lives on,with every dog @vanderpumpdogs saves. RIP Giggy, we love you.”
Her poignant post was accompanied with gorgeous photos of her late dog.
Giggy wore a tux and a bow tie, complete with a rose in his paws for one shot.
In another, the Pomeranian wowed on the red carpet as he walked in the limelight of his famous owner.
Many of her fans flooded her post with their sympathy.
Among the sea of comments, one wrote: “Oh Lisa! I was fortunate enough to meet Giggy when you came for interviews at The AP. We loved having you of course but no one garnered excitement like Giggy did! Laura Dern always gushed about meeting him years later. He was a good man. May his memory be for a blessing.”
Another wrote: “So sorry about Giggy’s passing, I always loved the way you and Ken were with Giggy. That love is how we are with our Bella. Giggy’s legacy will live on with @VanderpumpDogs and all the dogs your efforts are saving worldwide. #RIPGiggy.”
“Oh Lisa I am so sorry to hear this. He will be missed so much. Love to you RIP Giggy.”
