Megan Barton-Hanson insists she is happy to have kids with or without a partner when she turns 30 as she is desperate to become a mum.
The former Love Island bombshell, 26, is currently single, but she won’t let that stop her from having children in the future.
Glamour model Megan is excited to have her own brood and says it “won’t be hard” to become a mother on her own if needs be, sharing her plans to potentially adopt in the coming years.
She said many women her age “panic” as they think they have to do certain things to fit in with society, but Megan admits she doesn’t feel the pressure and will be fine as she is “comfortable” and “financially stable” by herself.
Megan has realised that she’s finally content with “being herself” and has come up with a plan of action to have kids if she is still single when ready to have them.
“As much as I’d love to meet someone and spend my life with them, if it got to the point where I was 30 and I really wanted a baby, I’d do it by myself. It’s not that hard,” the telly personality revealed to new! magazine.
Megan added: “If I was going to do it with another woman, why would I not do it by myself if I’m in a good place. It’s pretty far off but I really want to be a mum one day. Whether that’s adoption or something else, we’ll see.”
She’s been single ever since her sour break-up with singer-songwriter Chelcee Grimes last year.
Megan previously dated Love Island’s Wes Nelson and TOWIE star Demi Sims in the past.
The independent woman has realised she can become a mother with or without a partner by her side, and is willing to do it in the future.
Megan almost had a new love interest in recent weeks when Keeping Up With The Kardashians star Scott Disick slid into her DMs.
However the reality TV personality was not asking her on a date, he wanted her to apologise to her ex Eyal Booker for the way she treated him on the ITV dating show.
In the screenshots shared to her Instagram Story, messages from Scott’s account read: “Hey I recently saw your program Love Island. I had a few questions for you about it. Let me know when your around to speak about it.”
In response, Megan said: “Hey you… what do you wanna know X.”
Scott then messaged: “I was recently introduced to a beautiful man, named Eyal, when I went to see what he’s done on TV, I was astonished by your behaviour.
“To find you mugging him off and taking full advantage of his unbelievably beautiful sense of humour and vulnerability – I’m extremely disturbed that anyone could be so disrespectful to somebody for no good reason.
“I would like to know if you’d be willing to write him an apology. The fact you told him he wasn’t funny – when in fact, you are not Jim Carrey is absurd.”
Megan typed alongside the screenshots: “It’s not often I’m left speechless but… sorry? What have I just read? Genuinely a little concerned about Scott though.”
