Craig Phillips has announced the adorable name he and wife Laura Sherriff have given their baby boy.
After welcoming their second child in lockdown, the happy couple who were already parents to one-year-old daughter Nelly, have named their new arrival Lennon Thomas Phillips.
Craig, 49, revealed the name to OK! Online following little Lennon’s arrival into the world at 5.41am on Wednesday, December 2.
He weighed 6lbs 10.5oz.
Craig shared the happy news on Instagram this week, posting a selfie that showed him holding a baby carrier in the maternity ward of Whiston Hospital in Prescot.
He captioned it: “Guess what?”
Just days earlier, Craig had shared a string of beautiful pictures of Laura, 33, cradling her baby bump.
He wrote: “How super gorgeous does my wife Laura look… it is due date eve so maybe our baby boy will make an appearance this weekend!
“On the left is Laura today and on the right is just before her due date with our daughter Nelly! We have been enjoying some lovely family time this week with lots of long walks.
“What is everyones predictions for Baby Phillips number 2 arriving?? Come on baby we are waiting for you!”
Craig, who rose to fame after winning the first ever series of Big Brother in 2000, welcomed daughter Nelly last March, and she celebrated her first birthday in lockdown.
The doting dad regularly shares cute pictures of his little one on Instagram, and will no doubt do the same with Lennon.
Craig, who now works as a presenter and property developer, recently shared a cute snap of himself and Nelly on a building site.
She was all wrapped up in her winter coat and wore a pink safety vest over the top of it, with the words ‘Daddy’s little helper’ printed on the back.
Craig beamed with pride as he crouched down next to her holding her hand.
In the caption, he looked forward to seeing her become a big sister, writing: “Daddy’s Little Helper… Nelly Soon to be another little helper joining us, the countdown has begun!”
