A man was seriously injured by gunshot wounds in an attack in Rivière-des-Prairies, north of Montreal, on Sunday evening.
At around 9:35 p.m., the victim was getting out of his vehicle parked at his home on 63rd Avenue, near Perras Boulevard, when another vehicle stopped to shoot him.
The 50-year-old white man was shot in the upper body, Montreal police said. Unconscious, he was taken to a hospital.
We did not know his state of health.
Police have launched an investigation to shed light on this event.
