Biden sprains his ankle when slipping while playing with his dog | The State

President-elect Joe Biden was diagnosed with a sprained ankle after slipping while playing with his dog.

The accident happened on Saturday while he was playing with Major, one of his German shepherds. The Democrat was diagnosed with the sprain for him Dr. Kevin O’Connorfrom Delaware Orthopedic Specialists, according to Biden’s transition team.

“Initial X-rays are reassuring that there is no obvious fracture and that you will receive an additional CT scan to obtain more detailed images,” O’Connor said in a statement.

Biden, 78, will be the oldest president upon assuming the head of state. The Democrat has two German Shepherds, Major and Champ, with whom the tradition of having pets in the White House will return since Donald Trump did not have.
