The agent of Liverpool target David Alaba is reportedly set to enter transfer talks with Chelsea in January over a potential transfer.
Pini Zahavi represents the Bayern Munich star and retains close links with Stamford Bridge.
Alaba is out of contract in the summer and has twice rejected a new deal at Bayern as it looks increasingly likely he will leave the club in the coming months.
But Chelsea are not the only club Zahavi is planning discussions with regarding his client.
According to BILD journalist Christian Falk , Paris Saint-Germain are also one of the contenders to land Alaba’s signature.
Real Madrid are also said to be in the running, while Jurgen Klopp may step up Liverpool’s interest amid their injury crisis.
Alaba is able to enter pre-contract negotiations with foreign clubs from the start of the new year, but potential suitors would no doubt see the appeal in holding off six months to save themselves a transfer fee.
Bayern’s hierarchy are seemingly resigned to losing Alaba though, and may try and cut their losses in the winter window rather than lose him for nothing come June.

That is not the view of Bayern manager Hansi Flick however, who is still keen for the defender to remain at the Allianz Arena.
“He’s a very important player,” Flick said. “He’s been with the club for over nine years and has been a treble winner twice during that time.
“You can’t write off such a player.”
But Alaba appears to be in an ongoing standoff with Bayern over a new deal after slamming the club for withdrawing their previous offer.

The 28-year-old was also disappointed that Bayern did not come out to publicly refute purported salary figures released in the German media.
Bayern insisted Alaba’s agent knew their offer had a time limit, after which the deal would be automatically taken off the table.
Flick has now urged the Austrian to resolve the situation so Bayern can move on.
“David should take responsibility and decide for himself what is important to him,” Flick told Die Welt . “David is a very fine person and a brilliant football player. He is very popular with the team and holds them together.”
