Chrissy Teigen has decided to step away from social media as she is in a “grief depression hole” following her heartbreaking loss of baby son Jack in September.
The 34-year-old model spoke out on Twitter about her feelings at the moment and how she will be falling silent on social media for a while as she grieves in private.
Writing on Twitter on Wednesday, Chrissy told her followers: “I’m not tweeting much because I’m honestly in a bit of a grief depression hole but do not worry as I have so much help around me to get better and I’ll be fixed soon.”
Chrissy added: “they’ll call when im better and ready for pickup and u can swing by and grab me ok? thank u and love you!”
There was confusion as to the sentiment of Chrissy’s tweet, with fans questioning what the references to “they” and “u” are in the wording.
Chrissy is married to singer John Legend and they have two children together.
One follower replied to the tweet with: “feels like this was supposed to be a DM but i hope your healing process is moving along.”
Chrissy jokingly replied to them: “lol no I don’t look in there it’s a podcast-asking cesspool.”
Chrissy has been dealing with the emotions of her baby son Jack being born stillborn on September 30, following complications in the pregnancy.
After her announcement on Twitter, Chrissy was inundated with messages from famous friends and fans alike.

Comedian Tommy Campbell told Chrissy that she was “awesome” and the cookbook author’s “recipes have helped [others] in dealing with grief and through the pandemic.”
He added: “I hope you feel better soon.”
