Montreal Canadiens prospect Cole Caufield seems to have finally found his way home.
After scoring his first goal of the campaign on Monday night, the Wisconsin, NCAA Bagders forward came back on Tuesday, going for nothing less than a hat trick!
He thus greatly contributed to a 7-3 win over the Penn State Nittany Lions.
In the first period, when his club had the 2-0 lead, the quick winger recovered the puck in the central zone, then rushed at full speed into enemy territory.
He then beat a defenseman nicely before deceiving the opposing goaltender with a perfect pitch into the top of the net. All this in power play.
On the third period, Caufield recovered a loose puck and fired a powerful shot from just inside the post. He then completed his hat trick in an abandoned cage.
A performance that has something to salivate the supporters of the Canadian!
In six games this season, Caufield has four goals and four assists, for a total of eight points.
