The intra-team game scheduled for this noon at the Junior Team Canada selection camp has been canceled after two players tested positive for COVID-19.

Both players were placed in preventive quarantine at the team’s hotel in Red Deer.
“As soon as we received the positive test this morning, it was decided to postpone the match between Team Reds and Team White which was to take place this morning at Westerner Park Centrium and to suspend all today’s activities at training camp . In accordance with Hockey Canada safety protocols, all players, coaches and staff have been required to be tested for COVID-19 upon arrival at camp. Over the past ten days, they have continued to use it on a regular basis. As a precaution, we will ensure that all players and staff take another test before resuming training camp activities. Local and provincial health authorities have been made aware of the situation, and we will continue to work closely with Alberta Health Services. No further comments will be made at this time, ”Hockey Canada said in a statement.
