Carra says Harry Kane made Man City stars look “childish” in Tottenham win

Jamie Carragher has concluded Harry Kane’s performance against Manchester City made their players look “childish”.
It comes after Tottenham’s 2-0 win over the Etihad outfit – who are now 13th in the table.
Spurs have turned a corner since their embarrassing 3-3 draw with West Ham last month and have won every league game since.
And the victory over City laid down a marker for their Premier League title ambitions.
After nine games, Tottenham sit atop of the table – level on points with Liverpool.
And the club’s fans can largely thank Kane for his efforts so far this campaign, who has looked in brilliant form – with Sunday the latest stellar performance.

His movement in the opening exchanges saw Heung-min Son through on goal after a delightful pass from Tanguy Ndombele.
The South Korean made no mistake while Kane also set up the second for Giovani Lo Celso – who had just come off the bench.
Pep Guardiola was left rueing his side’s poor outing, who enjoyed more possession but ultimately looked lacklustre going forward.

And Carragher tore into his defenders after the match, branding them “childish”.
Speaking on Monday Night Football, he told Sky Sports: “I spoke about Harry Kane on this show a month ago about this new role and this new No.10 role.
“Harry Kane is the most streetwise footballer in the Premier League by a long way and I love it. I absolutely love it.

“After I’ve done this, if anyone tells me ‘he’s cheating or he’s going down’, he’s not.
“It’s a big part of the game and it’s a really clever part of the game.
“He made Man City’s defenders look really childish, naive and not understanding football.”
Spurs have a tough run of matches this month but started it off in fine fettle against City.
Their next four Premier League matches are Chelsea, Arsenal, Crystal Palace and Liverpool.
