Montrealer Chris Boucher signed a new two-year deal with the Toronto Raptors on Sunday.
The player’s agent, Sam Permut, confirmed to the network ESPN that his client had obtained a total amount of $ 13.5 million.
On Thursday, the Queen City side made a qualifying offer to Boucher, which meant he was a free agent with compensation.
Last season, his second with the Raptors, the Quebecer played in 62 games and averaged 13.2 minutes per game. The 27-year-old averaged 6.6 points, 4.5 rebounds and one block per game.
Prior to joining the Toronto club, Boucher was with the Golden State Warriors organization in 2017-18. Later hired by Toronto, he was part of the squad that won the NBA title in the spring of 2019.
