There are cities that are overcrowded, and yet there are still many people who want to move to them. On the other hand, there are other places where removals are not so common, and therefore they are willing to give you money to go and live there, an example of these places is Arkansas.
With the Life Works Here initiative, the state of Arkansas plans to attract new residents to the northwestern part of the territory, and is offering $ 10,000 in cash to those who agree to go, as reported in KENS 5.
Besides money, they will also give a street or mountain bike, allowing new residents to explore the area’s 162 miles of paved trails and 322 miles of mountain bike trails.
If you don’t want the bike, they can instead give you an annual membership to one of the local cultural institutions, like the Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art.
It should be noted that Northwest Arkansas is rated one of the best places to live in the United States thanks to its low cost of living, outdoor activities, world-class arts institutions, and a per capita income that is 14% higher than the national average.
To be eligible for the program, applicants must have the ability to move to Northwest Arkansas within 6 months of being accepted, and must have full-time remote employment outside Northwest Arkansas.
In addition, applicants must currently live outside of Northwest Arkansas, be 24 or older, and be eligible to work and live in the United States.
To apply for this program, you must enter the Northwest Arkansas site.
