A 46-year-old man from Saint-Hyacinthe has been charged in connection with alleged sexual offenses in Saint-Philippe and Saint-Mathieu, on the South Shore of Montreal.
Guy Godin, who was arrested by investigators from the Régie intermunicipale de police Roussillon, appeared on October 28 at the Longueuil courthouse, police said Thursday.
Godin is accused, among other things, of making accessible sexually explicit material, sexual interference and invitation to sexual touching. According to the Régie, he would have made his alleged victims take an unspecified drug, most of whom were under 16 years of age.
The incidents were reportedly committed between 2017 and this year.
“Investigators have reason to believe there may be more victims,” police said in a statement.
Anyone who has information about Guy Godin or his actions is invited to contact Detective Sergeant François Létourneau of the Régie intermunicipale de police Roussillon at 450 638-0911, ext. 416.
