Neither the fear of the coronavirus, the shootings nor the laws seem to stop the almost 400 New Yorkers who last night gathered at a Halloween party in Brooklyn (NYC).
The city’s deputy sheriffs broke up the celebration of nearly 400 people huddled inside a warehouse in a raid around 1 a.m. today at 23 Meadow St. in East Williamsburg, reported Pix11.
According to photos released by authorities, many of those present They were not wearing masks and were sharing shoulder to shoulder inside the warehouse.
Deputy Marshals multiple charges were issued to nine party organizers for minor offenses related to the administrative and health code, and the laws of control of alcoholic beverages.
City officials have urged residents to avoid trips and large gatherings and follow the rules of social distancing especially on Halloween weekend, since the pandemic of the coronavirus continues in NYC, the US, Latin America and Europe.
