The Los Angeles Rams’s defense did not allow any touchdowns and made life difficult for the Chicago Bears on offense, as the California side won 24-10 on Monday night at SoFi Stadium.
The unit led by Brandon Staley had two interceptions and four sacks. In total, the Illinois club’s offense amassed 279 yards and 14 first downs.
The only major losers came from the Bears defense (5-2). Eddie Jackson picked up a dropped ball and brought it back behind the goal line. It was his sixth career touchdown. It’s a high point in the NFL since he was drafted in 2017.
On the Rams’s offense (5-2), quarterback Jared Goff completed 23 of 33 passes for 219 yards and two majors. Josh Reynolds and Gerald Everett were his targets in the pay zone.
Running back Malcolm Brown had the other winners achievement. He ran with the ball 10 times and amassed 57 yards.
Next Sunday, the Bears will look to return to victory over the New Orleans Saints, as the Rams look to build on their success against the Miami Dolphins.
