A young woman dressed in red pajamas was found dead behind a bush in Queens (NYC).
The victim is believed to be from black or hispanic race and was between 20 and 30 years old, according to the first police report. She was discovered face down on the ground in front of 216-13 Horace Harding Parkway in Bayside, around 6 a.m. Friday. The street is just on the west side of the Long Island Expressway.
Police sources said the woman had a sweatshirt wrapped around the neck and he was wearing an orange shirt and red pajamas. He also had a sock on one foot.
The city medical examiner has not determined the cause of death. The authorities believe that the woman could have been strangled, after medical personnel found bruising around the neck the sources said.
A surveillance video apparently filmed a suspect in a white Dodge Challenger dragging the woman from her vehicle to the sidewalk, detailed New York Post.
