A teenager was stabbed multiple times during a robbery on a Brooklyn street early yesterday morning, reported NYPD.

Police said the minor was stabbed on the neck and back around 5:40 a.m. near the intersection of Atlantic and Euclid avenues, in the neighborhood Cypress Hills.

Eliezer Aguilar (18), a neighbor of the unidentified victim, said that they were walking when they were both confronted by a man, reported CBS2. He added that his friend was stabbed three times and that his phone was also stolen during the attack. Then the suspect fled.

A spokesman for the NYPD told Pix11 that the teenager was possibly victim of a robbery gone wrong. It was hospitalized in stable condition.
