Rapper Sean “Diddy” Combs creates “Our Black Party”, a political party for African Americans | The NY Journal

Los Angeles, California – The Rapper Sean “Diddy” or “Puff Daddy” Combs inaugurated this Friday a political party focused on African-American citizens of the United States, called “Our Black Party”, since it considers that none of the current formations respond to the demands of the community.

“We can protest all we want, but to win we have to build our own political formation,” he assured his 15 million followers on Twitter, while asking for the vote to Joe biden in order to prevent Donald trump be re-elected in a new term.

Our Black Party already has a website in which they affirm that they are not born “for a single election”, but that they intend to lead the political agenda of the African American community in the United States.

Among its priorities, the training cites combating inequality in access to health care and educational training along with the reform of the US penal system.

“Black people are not a monolithic group and, therefore, we have the right to advocate for different things”, highlights its founding text.

The musician explained in an interview with Revolt TV that his “number one priority” is to remove Trump from the White House and that happens to vote for the Democratic candidate, Joe Biden, but then he will promote policies from his own formation.

“The goal is to create a platform that helps promote a political agenda that addresses the needs of African Americans. Thus, in the future, we will not be in the same position we are in today, “he said.
