The son of Lisa marie presley, Benjamin Keough, had cocaine and alcohol in his system when he shot himself, his autopsy report revealed.

Benjamin Keough of 27 years, shot himself at his family’s mansion in July. At the time, sources revealed that she had been struggling and that her death was not a huge surprise to her mother and family members.

Surveillance footage showed him having an argument with his girlfriend, Diana Pinto, in the backyard of their home.

Then he went in, locked himself in a bathroom, stuck a pistol in his mouth and shot himself. Pinto heard the shot, went into the bathroom. He found him dead and called the police.

It’s unclear how much alcohol or cocaine he had in his system, but there were traces of both, according to the report that was released by the Los Angeles County Coroner’s Office earlier this week.

The report also describes the story of Elvis Presley’s grandson with mental illness. He had tried to kill himself six months earlier, then spent three weeks in rehab four months before dying.

Benjamin Keough had tried rehab three times before, but never completed it.

The autopsy refers to his drug abuse and says he also had a history of depression.

The coroner’s office released it on October 12. It also refers to Elvis Presley’s grandson having episodes of major depression in which he spent days in his bedroom at home.

Keough was the son of Lisa Marie and Danny Keough, her first of four husbands. The couple were together from 1988 to 1994.

Neighbors previously told DailyMail that they overheard an argument the morning of Elvis Presley’s grandson’s suicide around 3 a.m.

Keough took his own life around 6 in the morning.

Pinto was heard crying and telling police that she feared her family would blame her for her death.

Benjamin’s grandmother, Priscilla, 75, married Elvis Presley in 1967 but they divorced six years later. They had an only daughter Lisa Marie in 1968. Elvis died only nine years later.

Benjamin was the son of musician Danny Keough, who married Lisa Marie in 1988 and divorced her in 1994.
