Caroline Quentin has come clean about her biggest fear about starring on Strictly Come Dancing.
The 60-year-old actress – who is a trained dancer – is concerned about suffering from an epic wardrobe malfunction on TV and giving the audience an eyeful of her bust.
She says she will let the Strictly costume and make-up department have free reign over her appearance – unless she is given a cleavage dipping garment to strut her stuff in.
According to the Daily Star, she said: “My feeling is, I’ll hand over completely to the experts who know what they’re doing – hair, wigs, make-up, outfits – and let them do their thing.
“And unless I am actually scared that something is about to fall out, then I’m not going to moan.
“If something feels a bit perilous, let’s say, then I might speak up.”
There are already whispers of a Strictly fix row as Caroline is a trained dancer.
The star used to practice ballet when she was younger, but has pointed out this was many decades ago and she insists this does not give her an advantage.
Caroline told the Mail Online in 2011: “I still love to dance any time, anywhere.”
She also revealed on The One Show: “I do remember some of what I learned [dancing] but my knees are 50 years older than the last time I attempted any of it, and it’s my knees and my undergarments that are troubling me most as a notion.
“I hope my knees don’t let me down and I hope the foundation garments live up to expectations when I start leaping about!”
Meanwhile, Caroline’s pal Amanda Holden threw her support behind her, telling Lorraine Kelly: “She was an absolute force and an inspiration to me.
“She had my back throughout. She taught me so much, especially women in our industry and to stick up for yourself.”
“People don’t know that when she was a little girl, she was a proper ballet dancer. She went to Tring [Park School for the Performing Arts] and she can actually do it.”
“But I don’t want anyone to hold that against her,” Amanda added.
“Because I also know her knees have gone and she’ll be wearing special underwear on the nights.
“It’s definitely like she’s going to be starting again but I am rooting for her.”
As well as Caroline’s TV credentials in shows including Jonathan Creek and Have I Got News For You, she has also starred in the chorus for the original English production of musicals Les Miserables and Oh, What a Lovely War!
