Hispanic Dressed As A Woman Killed His Grindr Date Using A Machete In The Bronx | The NY Journal
A connection through the Grindr application ended in a homicide in the Bronx (NYC), when a man in a bra, panties and a dress attacked another with a machete.
Police were called to the 315 East 206th St. building around 7 p.m. the Sunday after the alleged killer’s roommate, Juan Alonso, came home and found him holding a machete standing next to a dead man, who was completely naked.
Alonso (50) met the victim on the app, a popular meeting place for gay men, according to New York Post. It was arrested, psychologically evaluated and charged with homicide and criminal possession of a weapon, police said.
Authorities are investigating whether there was a “dispute over certain sexual activities and it escalated,” a police spokesman said.
The identity of the deceased was not immediately released. “The offender is not in his right mind,” said a police source. “He could have taken drugs.”
A Bronx man was stabbed to death by his roommate inside their Norwood apartment, police said.
