The NYPD is searching for three suspects in a shooting at a Bronx car dealership that injured a father while protecting his three children from bullets.
Investigators believe it was a shooting related to gangsBut the only reported victim is an innocent bystander sitting inside the car dealership.
It happened around 7 p.m. Monday inside the business located at Boston Road and Conner St, in Eastchester, reported CBS2.
A surveillance video recorded one of three armed men opening fire at the dealership. People ran and a customer who was sitting on the sofa with his three children pushed them to the ground, jumped on top of them and used his body to protect them from the bullets.
Police say the 39-year-old unidentified father was shot in the thigh. A total of 14 shots were fired.
The three armed men are being wanted. Two of them fled on foot, while the third climbed in a client’s 2003 Honda, he noted. New York Post.
