Michelle Keegan was tested for coronavirus after a crew member working on her hit Sky series Brassic began to show symptoms, it has been reported.
The 32-year-old actress was working on the third series of the comedy, in which she plays single mum Erin Croft, when filming had to be halted to allow actors and production staff to be tested for the deadly virus.
An show insider told The Sun : “The safety of the cast and crew is of the utmost importance so until bosses know it’s totally safe filming won’t be going ahead.
“It could be a fortnight before it starts again. Michelle was due to start filming this week but nothing is happening until they’re sure it’s safe.”
Brassic follows the lives of Vinnie O’Neill and his five friends living in the fictional northern English town of Hawley.
The show received winning reviews from critics and led to a Writers’ Guild of Great Britain Awards for scriptwriter Danny Brocklehurst this year.
Following the on-set coronavirus testing on Monday, Michelle headed for a night out in London and won scores of compliments from fans over her slinky outfit.
The former Corrie star shared a snap of her strutting up some steps in a form fitting little black dress that led to followers comparing her to booty-queen Kim Kardshian.
“Honestly, you could be a Kardashian. Who knew you had such a lovely bottom? Lol,” said one.
“Oh my god that bum! You have a Kim Kardashian bum!” joked another.
While others simply responded with numerous peachy emojis.
Michelle has been putting the hours in at the gym lately with the help of her trainer hubby Mark Wright.
