Geordie Shore spin-off was rocked to its core when a crew member reportedly tested positive.
Claims emerged coronavirus tests have been made available to the reality stars and TV crew members part of the Geordie Reacts filming.
TV crew members in close contact with the reported coronavirus case are said to be self-isolating for 14 days in line with the government’s rules about COVID-19.
Geordie Reacts is much like Gogglebox where the cast of the show have been filmed reacting to the reality series.
It’s believed the alleged coronavirus scare wrecked havoc two days before the end of shooting scenes.
An insider told The Sun : “Social distancing measures were in place.
“However, some on the show are now asking if it returned to filming too early.”
The reality stars were believed to not be in close contact with the alleged coronavirus case.
Mirror Online has approached MTV for further comment.
Original stars Charlotte Crosby and Holly Hagan have signed up for the second series of Geordie Reacts.
They have both also returned to Geordie Shore’s latest spin-off Their Story which is airing on our screens.
Geordie Shore: Their Story charts the stars’ highlights from untold childhood memories to the dark side of fame.
Each week a different Geordie Shore original star will take the focus of the episode.
Also returning to the show are cast members Gary Beadle, Marnie Simpson, Sophie Kasaei, Aaron Chalmers, Chloe Ferry, Nathan Henry, Abbie Holborn and James Tindale.
It’s been four years since Charlotte quit the show which propelled her into the limelight.
At the time, The Charlotte Show star was devastated when her then-boyfriend Gaz got between the sheets with Jemma Lucy.
And the reality queen was nursing her heartache over her ectopic pregnancy but she’s back sassier than ever before.
