By 2:25 p.m., the eviction was voided as authorities did not detect explosives, according to the Associated Press report.
Police blocked the streets behind the tower and the bridge that spans the Seine River and Trocadero Square for about two hours.
“It was an orderly evacuation, there was no panic,” Manuel, a tour guide who was at the scene when the decision was made to remove those present from the structure, told NBC.
