Gordon Ramsay roasted for his £23 ‘five slices of meat with over salted fries’

Gordon Ramsay has been criticised by a customer who mocked the size of his £23 steak and chips dish.
With more than 1,000 reviews and a 3.5 out of 5 star rating, the professional chef’s York and Albany restaurant in London prizes itself on its “seasonal British classics” as well as its successful pizzeria.
But the measly size of its steak and chips dish, which will set you back £23, was a little too hard to swallow for one customer, reports Daily Star.
Guillaume R, who gave the restaurant a one-star rating for its food and two-star rating for its staff, said: “Gordon isn’t Heston, but Gordon is Jesus.”
Guillaume added: “He multiplies the steaks – give him a regular sized, one portion steak in any restaurant and this is what he comes up with.
“Five slices of meat with over salted fries. £23….
“Gordon you made a name giving advice on how to run a restaurant.
“Let me give you my advice.”
The fuming reviewer continued: “This is Covid time, hospitality sector is in bad shape, blatantly joking at your customers won’t help your business.
“Two stars for the polite staff.”
This isn’t the first time Gordon has come under fire for the food at his restaurants.
Gordon, 53, revealed that “the most amazing Full English” would be joining the menu at his Savoy Grill restaurant from September 21 but it didn’t go down too well with fans who complained it was too expensive.
The restaurant will be charging customers £19 for the brekkie which includes two eggs, one sausage, a few strips of bacon, one tomato and one mushroom.
A man replied to Gordon’s post with a snap of a fry up made by the ‘Fry Up Police’ who label themselves as: “The Worlds Number One Authority On The Great British Fry Up” with the caption: “THIS is a full English Gordon. Take a leaf out of @fryuppolice ‘s book….”
But Gordon wasn’t having any of it: “That’s called a Full English Classic Heart Attack you idiot sandwich ” – a phrase that was coined in a parody of his show “Hell’s Kitchen” for an episode of “The Late Late Show with James Corden” in 2015.
Brutal as always.
