Nickelodeon star Elizabeth Gillies has tied the knot with her long-term love Michael Corcoran.
The former Victorious actress, 27, who is still best pals with co-star Ariana Grande, said ‘I do’ to her composer fiancé during an intimate ceremony in New Jersey.
Earlier this year, the lovebirds were forced to postpone their April wedding date due to the coronavirus pandemic, but after getting tired of waiting, they decided to bite the bullet and tie the knot in a secret ceremony last month.
Taking to Instagram on Wednesday, Elizabeth dropped her wedding bombshell by posting a series of stunning snaps from her big day, which took place on August 8th.
Elizabeth and Michael resisted their vows at the gorgeous Inn at Fernbrook Farms in New Jersey with 10 guests in a bid to keep in line with current government coronavirus guidelines.
The happy couple could only invite their nearest and dearest, including both of her grandmothers.
The innovative lovebirds turned their wedding adventure into a road trip when they deiced to hit the road from their home in Atlanta in a vintage RV to avoid flying during the pandemic.
Opening up about her special day on Instagram, the former child star insisted that although their nuptials were halted for some time, it was well worth the wait because it “looked so picturesque.”
The dynasty star stunned her 12 million followers when she shared a glimpse into the “best day of her life ” with a selection of beautiful photographs.
Standing in front of a huge floral arch, Elizabeth said ‘I do’ while modeling a gorgeous billowing ivory dress complete with a flowing patterned veil.
What made their day even more special was the fact that the actresses dad, Dave Gillies became ordained so that he could marry his daughter.
Opening up about the incredibly special moment to Vogue, Elizabeth said: “Once we were exchanging vows, it hit me that my dad was marrying us and our loved ones were there, and I think I turned to Michael and mouthed, ‘Oh, my God, we actually did it.’ We were so happy.”
The couple recently moved to Atlanta after six years of dating and Michael popped the question to Liz at their new home when he got down on one knee and asked for her hand in marriage.
