Ant McPartlin’s ex-wife Lisa Armstrong has reportedly left boxes of his old belongings on the street for passers-by to take away.
The 43-year-old make-up artist had decided to clear out some unwanted items from their former marital home and left them outside so that people could take what they wanted, free of charge.
Britain’s Got Talent host Ant, 44, was granted a decress nisi last October after Lisa petitioned for divorce, based upon his adultery.
Ant has found love with Anne-Marie Corbett, 43, and Lisa has recently revealed that she in a relationship with 38-year-old electrician, James Green.
The Sun has reported that Lisa was having a “big clear out” before looking to sell on the house where she spent living with Ant during their marriage.
The publication has said that Lisa put the items on the pavement under a sign that read: “Help yourself.”
Among the items were adult lie detector quiz Saint or Sinner as well as Ant’s old bathrobe.
There was also a selection of autobiographies, including Piers Morgan’s The Insider and Craig Revel Horwood’s Tales from the Dance Floor.
One of the more heartbreaking items was a dog bowl that was used by the pair’s beloved labrador, Hurley.
The source told The Sun that Ant had “sifted through what he wanted to keep,” and “what was left is being offered for free.”
Another source said: “Some of it is Ant’s, some of it is Lisa’s and some of it they bought together.”
Meanwhile, Declan Donnelly admits he felt some “career uncertainty” when pal Ant McPartlin had to battle his personal demons – and says they had to work hard to restore their friendship.
Ant took time off to deal with his well-publicised problems in 2018, with the telly star checking into rehab following his drink-driving conviction.
Dec accepts he didn’t know if their famous partnership would ever return.
But with his pal back by his side, he has opened up on the testing time and the strain it put on their relationship.
Now they both say they will never take things for granted again – and are pleased to report they are in a very good place together now.
