Ashley Banjo hit out at the “racists” once again as Britain’s Got Talent OfCom complainants sky-rocketed to 21,673.

Diversity’s Black Lives Matter movement-inspired routine drummed up controversy when it was choreographed a white police officer knelt on the neck of Ashley in a nod at the death of George Floyd in America.

Waves of anger have rippled through the UK because many viewers felt the family TV show was unnecessarily politicised.

But the lead dancer of Diversity, 31, continued to stand his ground and throw his support behind the political dance on Instagram.

The performer made a jibe about “confusing the racists” when he shared a picture of himself with his children.

Ashley pointed out one of his children was brown and the other was white in a strongly worded caption directed at the haters.

The dad-of-two posed with his kids Rose and Micah whom he shares with his wife Francesca Abbott.

He wrote: “There’s been a lot of negativity recently so I thought I’d lighten the mood with a picture of me completing some dad duties…

“One child is brown and one is white… That should confuse the racists. #diversity#family.”

Many of his 887K followers on social media showed their support to the Britain’s Got Talent star and his family.

Among the crowd, one said: “Beautiful family. Don’t listen to the snowflakes. The performance was amazing.”

“Love this!! They will be baffled AF! Keep going. X.”

“I thought your BGT performance was amazing! Anyone who has complained clearly doesn’t like the truth about the kind of world we live in.”

Ratings plummeted by 350,000 and many viewers threatened to boycott the show altogether following the controversy.

BGT head judge Amanda Holden said the dance has sparked a controversial conversation while Alesha Dixon threw her full support behind the choreography.
