Being a dad to three little ones can be trying at the best of times but Paddy McGuinness has revealed he’s enduring another level of parenthood torment.
The comedian has taken to his Instagram to share some fatherhood strife with his fans as he admits to being terrified of one of his kids’ accessories.
The Bolton-born funnyman posted a snap of a bright pink rucksack on Friday.
The bizarre bag features an attached sleeping baby wearing what can only be described as a half unicorn, half seahorse fluffy pink outfit.
The strange doll’s one-suit is completed with a purple and yellow fluffy heart on the belly and strange three-finger silver hands.
Paddy, 47, had followers howling with laughter as he captioned the snap: “My youngest daughter has the worlds creepiest rucksack!
“Every time I pick it up I hear the Omen music!!!! #friday#rucksack#freaksmeout#daughters#staysafe.”
His fans took to the comments to agree with the creepiness off the garish bag, with one writing: “This makes me super pleased we have boys… no scary dolls!”
But another quite fancied the interesting accessory, asking: “I need this. Where’s it from please!?” Another fan informed her it’s from kids bag and lunchbox brand Smiggle.
Paddy and his wife Christine have always been open about the ups and downs of parenting.
Earlier this year the Take Me Out star and his 32-year-old wife revealed their youngest daughter Felicity, four, has autism.
The couple’s seven-year-old twins Penelope and Leo are both autistic.
Leo and Penelope were diagnosed when they were three-years-old, and Paddy and Christine saw similar signs in their youngest child.
The loving parents have been open about raising their three gorgeous kids, but Christine has confessed it hasn’t been easy.
She admitted she blamed herself for her children being autistic.
Christine said earlier this year she thought their diagnoses were her fault because they spent all their time with her when their dad was working away from home a lot.
Speaking on MTV podcast Nappy Days , Christine heartbreakingly admitted: “They were with me permanently. My husband works away a lot so I thought maybe it was me and that I hadn’t taught them very well.
“They also never went to nursery or play groups so I blamed myself for them having no social skills.
“I thought that it was down to me doing a rubbish job as a mother.”
