Reality TV star Lauren Goodger has been forced to cancel her big 34th birthday party plans.

The former The Only Way Is Essex cast member, 33, had plans for an extravagant social gathering but it has now been cancelled due to new restrictions brought in by the UK government.

Boris Johnson announced this week that social gatherings have been limited to just six people from Monday onwards to limit cases of the coronavirus.

This led to Lauren to take to Instagram reveal that her big plans will be downgraded as a result of the changes.

Lauren penned: “Hey everyone due to new Borris rules (6 people) I won’t be having a birthday party this year so everyone I’ve mesaged and who is coming it’s no longer going ahead.

“Thank you to everyone though I no it was going to be lit. Love LG.”

“Has anyone any good ideas? I love theme parks go karting etc.

“My bday falls on a Saturday and then a meal after like TGis lol I’m like a kid”.

Sounds like an ideal way to celebrate to us!

The news comes after Lauren hit out at suggestions by an MP to label photos on social media that have been filtered and edited prior to posting.

Lauren told new! magazine: “What’s next – shall we get rid of makeup? Shall we ban hair dye? These are things that change how you look and make you feel better.”

The beauty described reasons why she might edit her photos herself, citing her own personal anxities.

“When I change the filter on my images it helps with my anxiety,” she noted, “as it makes me feel good and takes my mind elsewhere.

“Celebrities and non-celebrities use filters on Instagram, as it’s just light-hearted and harmless.”
