Love Island’s Alex and Olivia Bowen’s stunning £1m mansion makeover

Love Island’s Alex and Olivia have proudly unveiled their new Essex mansion. 

Over the past number of months, the reality TV couple, who met on the ITV reality show in 2016, have been delighting fans with inside glimpses of their extensive home renovations.

Alex and Olivia, who tied the knot in a lavish ceremony in 2018, share regular updates of their no-so-humble abode on their joint Instagram page called The Bowen Home.

Regularly regarded as one of the wealthiest couple to ever come from Love Island, it’s clear the lovebirds wanted to invest and splurge their earnings on their stunning forever home.

The Bowen Home Instagram page proves that Alex and Olivia share a love for the finer things in life, and in particular, the finer details in their home décor.

Their property boasts an elegant kitchen which features light grey paneling and marble counter tops surrounding the space.

In the centre of the room, Olivia has ensured that the modern theme of the dazzling white kitchen is contrasted against the stunning vintage dining table which features a distressed wooden finish.

Seated around the eye-catching table are eight velvet chesterfield chairs which tie in perfectly with the raw wood centrepiece.

Social media influencer and telly favourite Olivia has scattered her personality throughout the kitchen by placing an array of equally bright and muted flowers to add to the overall elegance of the space.

Alex and Olivia have also added two comfortable couches to their huge kitchen, much to the delight of their beloved dogs who love nothing more than cuddling up together for a cheeky snooze.

Leading out into the stunning hallway, the couple have transformed their rather ordinary staircase into an incredibly charming feature which looks as though it’s been plucked straight out of a classic movie scene.

The couple’s hallway emanates a luxury feel made all more lavish with smaller details including a rounded black marble table which holds some designer pieces including a bottle of Prada perfume and a selection of fashion books.

Proving that they’ve got a great eye for art, Alex and Olivia also have some striking pieces of artwork hanging on the walls of their gorgeous £1 million pound home.

Earlier this month, Olivia took to her home’s Instagram page to share her joy at finding a piece of art which ‘speaks’ to her.

The erotic image shows a naked woman’s body, and is painted in gorgeous blue and white tones.

Opening up about her perfect find, Olivia revealed: “I never have been an arty person but wow the feeling this gives me is everything.”

The couple’s latest transformation comes in the form of their huge lounge which features muted navy walls and a luxurious u-shaped velvet navy couch which takes up half of the room.

A huge TV is built into the walls while a lavish glass-topped coffee table sits in the centre of the space.

Of course, Olivia has decorated the eye-catching table with a selection of stunning flowers to add a more feminine touch to the room.

Other parts of their gorgeous Essex mansion include that a personal shower for their beloved pets.

The pair have created an elegant tiled area with a chrome shower head that was specifically created for their pooches Winnie and Reggie.

Taking to Instagram, Olivia followers, Olivia dubbed herself a ‘crazy dog lady’ after revealing the project.

“Ok so I’ve secretly been most excited for the doggies shower & it has NOT disappointed,” the caption read.

“I mean look how cute that is, may I point out we still don’t have our en suite but the pups are gonna be living the life belting who let the dogs out into the shower head.

“I can’t wait to accessorise this area with shelving, their shampoos, little plants… & a portrait of the pups we had done. Crazy dog lady? Completed it mate.”

Outside, the couple can enjoy the last of the summer sunshine with a glass of wine and some alfresco dining in front of their personal lake.

If that wasn’t enough, they have created the perfect table and gas fire pit combination to keep warm as the sun sets.

Alex and Olivia regularly top the list of the Love Islanders who have banked the most money from the show.

The pair transformed their lives after the show by raking in an estimated £4.5million even though they didn’t walk away as the winners.
