Noel Gallagher forced to drop price of luxury London mansion by £3.5million

Noel Gallagher’s wonder walls have finally sold – but the star has reportedly had to take a £3.5million hit on his house.

The former Oasis rocker had hoped to flog his London pad for £11.5m when he put it up for sale in 2016.

The house has been on the market for four years, but until last month it hadn’t tempted anyone to take the plunge, despite being an impressive property.

The 53-year-old bought the Grade II-listed mansion for £8m – and he will actually lose money on it.

Noel splashed out on adding some stunning touches that will make this a fantastic investment for those that have the odd million or two in the bank.

But it only sold for what he paid for it, leaving the singer out of pocket.

Noel now loves the country life after moving to Hampshire.

According to The Sun, the property in Little Venice, West London, is now marked sold on the estate agent’s site.

A source said: “It’s a mystery why it took so long to sell. It’s a great location and one of the nicest homes in the area.

“He’s pleased the sale has finally happened.

“Now he’s shot of the London mansion he’ll have more time to spend there. It’s a far cry from what he used to get up to but he’s happy.

“He enjoys visiting the local shops. He enjoys the countryside a lot.”

With no stamp duty to pay, the mystery buyer have really got themselves a bargain.

Sitting alongside the six bedrooms, there are five large bathrooms and it also boasts three large reception rooms.

Large windows bring plenty of light into the rooms, which helps accentuate the spacious feel.

He even had a superb gym to keep himself in shape.

Keeping fit is easy too, as there is a gym in the annexe that also has another bedroom.

It may be in the middle of London but there is plenty of grounds with the property, as it boasts a garden measuring 1,257 square feet.

On Estate Agent Zoopla’s website before it sold, they describe the house being in one of the “most desirable streets” of the capital.
